Objectives


1 - VISAD, which is composed of real and legal entities related to the industry and trade of veterinary health products such as veterinary medicines, feed additives, and biological substances, leads and mediates the solution and publication of the problems of Turkey's animal health industries aiming to provide safe, effective and quality products for preventive medicine, treatment medicine, veterinary public health and animal breeding related to the livestock sector, and contributes to raising the level of the industry.

 
2 - Contributing to our country's animal health industry and society by creating solutions to the challenges faced in obtaining healthy and productive animal husbandry and safe animal food. VISAD realizes its purpose by showing leadership in the following areas;

-To address the problems of animal husbandry in Turkey, to work for animal health and welfare and the health and food safety of domestic and ornamental animals,

-Promote healthy and high-quality animal food production,

-Contribute to protecting and improving the health of our national food and animal wealth,

-To work for the formation and implementation of the legislative infrastructure for the production, control, distribution, and use of veterinary medicinal products in European Union norms and standards,

-To help the public better understand the conscious use of veterinary health products and the contribution of this field to the national economy,

-To increase the level of awareness of those working in the animal health sector on veterinary medicinal products,

-To work in the public interest by supporting consumer information, awareness, and protection efforts,

-To reduce economic losses and create public benefit by contributing to the animal health problems of livestock breeders engaged in animal husbandry for food purposes.

 
3 - The association informs the industry, government, media, and the public on all matters in line with its objectives. VISAD also represents the views and relevant issues of its members. It informs the public about the importance and contributions of the animal health industry. It works in cooperation with other associations and professional organizations on related issues.
